Experience a private tour alongside our Ambassadors that takes you behind-the-scenes to experience up-close opportunities to meet birds and small mammals.

Discovery Cove Orlando is home to one of Florida’s most immersive animal tours, Animal Trek. Led by our animal experts, this approximately 30-minute tour takes you on a journey off the public pathways to meet our amazing animals.

Your trek takes place in a lush private oasis where you'll come face to beak with a variety of bird species including macaws, a rescued screech owl, and more, creating the perfect moment for a photo.

From there, you'll continue this unique experience with a chance to meet Discovery Cove Animal Ambassadors such as an anteater, armadillo, kinkajou, or sloth. Tours start between 12:00p.m. - 12:30p.m. daily.

Get up-close with a variety of bird species including macaws, parrots, and many more.

Full experience is approximately 30-minutes. All participants must be at least 6 years old. Children ages 6-12 must be accompanied by a paying adult who is also participating in the Animal Trek experience. Tours start between 12 p.m. - 12:30 p.m. daily.

Please do not book both Animal Trek and Shark Swim to your Discovery Cove package, these two experiences are scheduled to begin at the same time during the day.

When booking 3 or more upgrades, please plan to check in no later 7:30am for proper scheduling of your day. If you're booking less than 3 upgrades, please plan to check in any time before 10:00am.
