Your Discovery Cove Admission Includes:
Food and Beverages: Freshly prepared food, unlimited snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, and a selection of beer and wine for guests 21+.
Gear and Facility Use: Changing facilities, swim vest or wet suit, snorkel gear, flotation devices, lockers and towels. Private indoor and public outdoor showers are also available. Note, in order to maintain a healthy environment for our animals, showering is recommended prior to entering any of their living space.
Sunscreen: A specially formulated sunscreen safe for all our animal habitats is provided at all restrooms.
Parking: All-day self-parking at Discovery Cove is complimentary.
ID card: A personalized Discovery Cove ID card with the option to set up in-park charging.
Discovery Cove Dining Hours
- Breakfast at Laguna Grill is available from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
- Lunch at Laguna Grill is available from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
What to Bring to Discovery Cove
Photo ID: Identification needed for each party member 18 years and older. (ex: driver’s license or passport)
Credit card: For an optional in-park charge account or souvenir purchases.
Clothing: Bathing suit and a set of dry clothes. Please note that Discovery Cove is family-friendly, therefore we ask that the appropriate swim attire be worn throughout your visit. Children in diapers are required to use water proof protectors or Swim Diapers (can be provided if needed).
Completed Waivers: Waivers are needed for any minors (under 18 years of age) in your party not visiting with their parent or natural guardian. Waivers can be accessed here.
What to Leave at Home
Jewelry: For the safety and well-being of our marine friends. Please do not leave valuables unattended/unsecured. Park is not responsible for lost, missing or stolen property. (Wedding bands are acceptable.)
Outside food and beverages: No outside food or beverages are allowed in. This includes alcohol and coolers.
Flotation devices: This includes noodles, swim fins, sand toys, flippers, and any scuba equipment.
Check-in Times for your Discovery Cove Vacation
Discovery Cove is a full day adventure with waterways open from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. daily. Please plan to arrive between 7:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.
For special needs that require a specific timeframe, please call reservations at 407-513-4600 at least 24 hours in advance.
Check-in Times for Animal Experiences
Dolphin Swim and SeaVenture: Times are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis at time of check-in.
Shark Swim: Please arrive and check-in no later than 9:00am.
Ray Feeding: Please arrive and check-in no later than 7:00am.
Trainer for a Day: Please meet your dolphin trainer at 7:45am in the Reception Lobby (check-in should occur before this time).
Flamingo Mingle: Please arrive by 7:00am for proper scheduling.
Eligible Age Requirements for Animal Experiences
All-Inclusive Dolphin Swim: Children ages 6-12 must be accompanied by a paying adult who is also participating in the dolphin swim experience.
SeaVenture and Shark Swim: Children ages 10-13 must be accompanied by a paying adult who is also participating in the experience.
Ray Feeding, Animal Trek and Flamingo Mingle All participants must be at least 6 years old and comfortable in water.
Additional Information
In order to maintain a healthy environment for our animals, showering is required prior to entering any of their living space. Private and outdoor shower facilities are provided.
Guests must obey all posted instructions and verbal instructions given by the park employees. Guests shall report any injuries before leaving the park.
All bags, strollers, and other personal items are subject to inspection.
Any person not employed by Discovery Cove or its on-site contractors is prohibited from engaging in solicitation, or the distribution of handbills, leaflets, advertising or promotional materials, or the sales of products or services on the park’s property without first obtaining written approval from Discovery Cove.
